Community Organizer
Sutton is a grassroots activist and community organizer with the Concerned Citizens of the South Side. Her campaigns to preserve Black history in Spartanburg and to voice community concerns have had a major impact in Spartanburg, where she is frequently cited in the Spartanburg Herald and GoUpstate.com. Most recently, Toni has presented on behalf of Spartanburg at a Way to Wellville conference promoting health equity in Spartanburg, and she is a fellow in Spartanburg County Foundation’s leadership cohort this year. Toni is also an impressive gardener and tends to every fruit imaginable in her backyard in her limited free time.
